Wilfred R. Parsels, Sr., age 97 of Pitman Manor died Monday, August 6, 2012. Formerly of Deptford and Westville, he was a long-time member of Blessed Hope Community Church in Westville Grove where he served as a Trustee and Sunday School Superintendent for many years. He was retired from Texaco Eagle Point Works and following retirement he drove hearses and limousines for Mantua Livery Service.

Husband of the late Maryan (nee Quenzel) and the late Myrtle (nee Benner), he is survived by son: Wilfred R. Parsels, Jr. & his wife Joanne, of Ocean City, NJ, daughter: Janice Bodine of Westville, step son: Dr. Marshall T. Williams & his wife Eileen of Newark, DE, step daughter: Linda Williams & her husband Henry Pinto of Westville; 5 grandchildren: Jill (Ed) Holmstrom, Jane (Greg) Ley, Katherine (Troy) Jones, Lindley (Michael) Thomas & Luke Williams and 6 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends may visit with the family 10 -11 AM Monday, August 13 at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main St., Mantua, NJ where funeral services will be held at 11 AM.
