Updates on: Sis. Lillian Bott, PGO; Bro. Bob Johnston, PP; Sis. Arlene Bernett, PGO; Sis. Dottie Laird, GO
Bob Johnston, PP returned home from the hospital after a series of tests showed everything to be in the normal range. No cause was discovered for his suddenly low hemoglobin count. We're certainly glad he is on the mend.
Lillian Bott, PGO was hospitalized for severe back and shoulder pain, loss of feeling in her left arm and hand, limited use of right hand, and unable to keep food down. She thought she'd had a stroke. The doctors say "no." However x-rays showed several small fractures in her back, which will have to heal themselves. Additionally, blood tests came back with 2 positive indicators for Lyme's disease. They started her on IV treatments. She is in Chilton Hospital for the next several days. Hopefully she will be transferred to Cedar Crest for re-hab. I will send the address for re-hab when she is definitely admitted.
I understand Arleen Bernett PGO is back in St. Joseph's Hospital (Paterson) again. She had only been home from re-hab for two weeks.
Dottie Laird, GR Missouri did well with her surgery, and is home recovering.
I know this Brother and Sisters would appreciate cards and calls. I hope the rest of you are enjoying a restful and healthy summer.

Sis. Lorraine Everline, PGM
Update on Lorraine Everline, PGM. Sister Lorraine is fighting a battle with Leukemia. She has just completed her first round of chemo, (5 days a week) and still has two more to go. They should be completed by October. Her white blood count is extremely low, and they are trying to raise the count to an acceptable level. She has to stay away from crowds in order to avoid infection. Please remember her with cards, prayers, and phone calls - she is home, except when she has doctors appointments, or chemo.
