The New Jersey Eastern Star Home has availability in its Residential Care Unit for short-term Respite stays. Respite is the placement of a loved one by a care-taker for a period of time, which varies from a few days to a couple of weeks or more, while the care-taker takes a break. Reasons for Respite placement can vary from the need for holiday travel, and the holidays are fast approaching, to travel for O. E. S. functions, or the need to attend to other personal matters. Whatever the reason for placement, Respite stay residents will enjoy a private room in our Residential Care Unit and all the amenities available including all daily meals, environmental services, activity programs and health care services. To find out more about Respite Care, call the Social Services Department at 908-722-4140. Yvonne Klock,Administrator |
